STEPS TO OPENING
YOUR BREADSMITH

Breadsmith Baker
Step 9: Training and support
Prior to opening a Breadsmith store there are many things that must be done. One of the most important things you will need to accomplish is the 3 week Initial Training Program. This program will be conducted at the corporate store under the direction of the Operations Manager and will be offered to you and one other person of your choosing at no cost to you. This course will consist of many important modules taught both in the classroom setting and in a fully-operational store setting. We will utilize the foremost authorities in each field in order to provide you with the greatest opportunity to grow your knowledge.

You will spend approximately 86 hands-on hours learning the art of making artisan quality bread. From mixing, to shaping, to baking, we will teach you how to make our award-winning breads from scratch. But we don't stop there! Our Research & Development Manager will spend approximately 4 hours in the classroom and 6 hours in the store teaching you advanced dough concepts in an effort to round out your baking knowledge. We will also take the time to show you how Breadsmith merchandises and markets our products both in a retail and a wholesale environment. We will spend time discussing and instructing you on how to manage the critical financial operations of the business as well as how to effectively create and manage your menu.

The training program is designed to provide you, the franchisee, with the base knowledge necessary to be successful. Upon completion of the 3 week course you will be ready to effectively open your store.
